Family Programs for Fun, Challenge, and Adventure

Enroll your kids in activities that teach life skills, not just offer babysitting.

  • Summer break, school is out, work is not

  • Planned school closures on workdays

  • Long afternoons, 3–5ish pm on school days

  • Wanting real activities, not screen time

  • Making space for your health, your relationship, and your life

Your kids are out of school, but you’re tied up…

Old City Kids makes it easy to say yes to all of it!

Three children playing outside on a grassy area near a playground, with trees and overcast sky in the background.

Kids programs built around movement, structure, and fun.

Children playing at a playground, with a boy hanging from a structure, a girl in the background, and a woman observing, all on a gravel surface with trees and flowering bushes in the background.

We believe in the importance of physical education, and our kids’ programs provide a wide variety of movement-based fun activities to support your child’s growth and independence through movement and play. Each program incorporates:

  • Organized lessons

  • Activity-based free play

  • Team building

  • Agency & autonomy

  • Risky Play

  • FUN

  • Our programs are structured and coach-led. Kids follow a daily plan that includes instruction, games, and free play. This is not passive supervision.

  • Days include organized activities, physical games, group challenges, and scheduled free play. Summer camp includes daily swimming. There is no screen time.

  • Programs are led by trained coaches who actively run activities and manage groups. Kids are never left unsupervised.

  • We use clear check-in and check-out procedures so parents know exactly where their child is and who is responsible for them.

  • Yes. Activities are supervised and age-appropriate. We believe in physical challenge with boundaries, not eliminating movement or risk entirely.

  • Each program has a short checklist, typically including athletic clothing, sneakers, water, and lunch for full-day programs.

  • No. Our programs are fully screen-free other than movie nights (parent’s night out)

  • Both options are available. Some programs allow drop-in registration, while others offer packs or all-access passes.

  • We offer a virtual open house where you can see how programs run, ask questions, and decide before enrolling.
